Julien chaffard

Founder of Classic Racing School

An engineer by training, Julien developed a passion early on for the golden age of motoring, an era shaped by unique personalities, a distinct mindset, and the iconic machines that defined the 60s. While studying at INSA Lyon, he turned this fascination into a life mission: creating a one-of-a-kind concept that lets anyone relive the sensations of period drivers in a truly authentic setting, at the wheel of rolling works of art, on a legendary circuit. At the heart of it all: a dedicated and passionate team united by a shared love for excellence and detail.

She loves the fast-paced, multifaceted nature of her role and brings boundless enthusiasm to every event.

Son of former Formula 1 driver and local legend Patrick Depailler, Loïc is proud to share his driving knowledge on “his” circuit. Throughout his career, Loïc has worn many hats, from driver to motorsport journalist. Since 2023, he has also served as a driving instructor at Classic Racing School. His advice is just as insightful and valuable as the countless stories he’s gathered from circuits around the world.
Arthur-Rougier. L'équipe
Arthur ROugier
