You may have spotted it at Le Mans Classic: the Vintage Club Series single-seater signals the arrival of a brand new championship. After nearly ten years of training passionate drivers, Classic Racing School finally gives them the chance to take a real racing start.
A one-make championship born at Classic Racing School
Created by Julien Chaffard, founder of Classic Racing School, the Vintage Club Series is a one-make championship developed in partnership with the FFSA and the manufacturer Crosslé. The goal: to give amateur drivers a setting where sporting fairness, driving pleasure and authenticity come before raw performance.

The Crosslé 92F, the championship’s car
Every car is identical: the Crosslé 92F, a single-seater homologated specifically for the championship. A naturally aspirated 1.8 L Ford Zetec engine producing 130 bhp, a 4-speed manual gearbox, a tubular steel chassis and just 430 kg, with no driver aids at all. Pure driving, hand-built in the Crosslé workshops in Northern Ireland.
A format built around the pleasure of driving
Each meeting runs over two days to maximise track time: free practice, qualifying, then four sprint races. Drivers can even share their car in pairs, sharing the costs as much as the sensations.

How to join the adventure
The Vintage Club Series is built on a turnkey formula: logistics, preparation, technical support and video coaching are all taken care of. Buying the single-seater, from 60,000 EUR excluding tax, is the first step, and owners will also be able to offer their seat to other drivers. All the details can be found at vintageclubseries.com.
