Classic Racing School & CILEA: A historic anniversary on track!
At the Classic Racing School, a love for vintage single-seaters and classic charm does not exclude a resolutely modern rigour. To run an exceptional driving school on a track as technical as the Circuit de Charade, keeping up with the times is an absolute necessity. This is the true meaning of our relationship of trust with Cilea Software & Payments, a key partner supporting us daily in digitalizing our events.
It was at the heart of our paddock, on May 22nd, that we marked an important milestone in this relationship by welcoming Cilea for its 30th anniversary.
Payment performance serving the racing experience
As a management software publisher and a recognized expert in digital transformation, particularly for automotive professionals, Cilea is the perfect link between cutting-edge IT and the automotive world.
On the ground, this collaboration translates into very concrete terms. During each of our driving courses or events, Cilea provides us with its payment solutions and Electronic Payment Terminals (EPT). These modern, high-performance, and essential tools ensure the fluidity of our live activity right from the paddocks, allowing our drivers to focus on just one thing: their racing lines.
A major logistical challenge: 60 enthusiasts on track
Welcoming a partner is always a pleasure, but celebrating 30 years of success required stepping up a gear. For the Classic Racing School, this event represented a magnificent operational challenge. While our infrastructure and teams usually welcome a maximum of 20 people for private groups, no fewer than 60 employees from Cilea took over the circuit. Exactly the kind of challenge we love to take on!
To mark this milestone, we put together an exclusive day designed to experience automotive passion from the inside, both behind the scenes and on the asphalt:
The Pitstop Workshop: A true test of teamwork and speed in the pits, where employees were able to try their hand at the rigour of a timed wheel change.
Track Passenger Laps: High-speed thrills for the guests, sitting alongside experienced drivers on board an Alpine, a Jaguar, and our Crosslé 9S prototype.
The Immersive Van Tour: A privileged discovery of the legendary corners and secrets of the Charade track, comfortably seated in the van sporting the Classic Racing School colours.
A Spectacular BMX Show: A touch of audacity and acrobatics that set the pace for the day, to the great delight of the spectators.
The Photo Shoot: A must-do in the paddock to immortalize the smiles of the entire team and engrave this memorable anniversary.
